Animal Drawing and Popularity Poll 2

Here are nine rough sketches.

I will draw the animal that ranked first place! (within two months if possible)

I also added back into the voting the animals that were ranked in March : Animal Drawing and Popularity Poll

Just like last time, I wrote down briefly what I like about this animal.

These are all animals that I want to draw someday. Some of them will be completed in the end regardless of this poll result 😎

1. Clam

I can't eat clams, but I love clam very much... My favorite thing to do is play Clam Blitz in Splatoon (It's game). There are many different types of clams, so it would be nice to draw as many as possible.

2. Starfish

I've drawn starfish a few times so far. Hmm... but I always wanted to draw more. It would be nice to draw a lot of colorful starfish on a black background, like I drew coral before.

3. Crow

As I said before, I've been thinking about drawing some birds for months now (even though bird didn't win the past poll) . There's an animation I recently enjoyed that had a lot of characters in it, and among them, I liked the characters based on crows and hawks. I also realized that I had never drawn them.

I often see crows in my neighborhood, and the crows that live here are Large-billed crows.

4. Hawk

I've always wanted to get better at drawing birds of prey 🥹 I was skeptical if I could pull them off in my own style. Anyway, I can't know for sure unless I try it..

They are really strong, but sometimes they are just too funny.

I laughed out loud when I saw a video of a red-tailed hawk screaming on YouTube.

5. Oscar (fish)

Cichlids have always been one of my favorite freshwater fish family, especially their amazing color. They are really beautiful. On the other hand, the faces of the fish are cute. I can easily imagine how I want to paint it.

6. Redtail catfish + cats

I doodled once 5 years ago too. Imagine a big catfish and a cat swimming together... double the cuteness.

7. Mantis shrimp

For a while I was drawing pictures in colors that were easy on the eyes. I wanted to draw some colorful animals, so I added them. (And I thought I should include some arthropods.) The first thing that came to mind was the mantis shrimp. They are one of the most colorful animals I know. They are beautiful, but there are also many cool things about them. They can punch hard, and their complex eye is amazing. When I was in high school, I read an article about them in National Geographic magazine, and since then, I have always been curious about what the world looks like through their eyes.

8. Hedgehog

When I was little I wanted to raise a hedgehog 🥹 I think I sketched these a long time ago, trying to draw them. I like how the feet are so small ...

9. Alpaca

Alpaca would be fun to draw.... There are two breeds of alpacas and they have really different feels. It's happy just looking at the alpaca's photo..
