Matte/Foil vs Pearly/Holographic

Here is a survey on the preference for reward Coating materials (stickers, postcards)
First of all! I want to tell you in advance that this is for reference only.
Since the design poll is given priority for me. So regardless of the poll results, I will choose the one that I think is more suitable based on my judgment of the selected design. π§β¨
Then why am I doing research?
Sometimes (or often), I think that both go well together. In this case, it is simply a matter of taste. so In that case, I'll be referring to the result.
For example, let's assume the Blue snake that is popular this round.... I think this snake would look good with any material.
Sticker:
It would be cool if the scales part were made of foil.
It would also be pretty if the entire thing was coated with a shiny hologram.

Postcard
Pearl paper : shiny and cute, mysterious vibe.
Tuxture paper : clear and soft feeling.

Oh yeah ββI know what you mean. If we are going to write, textured paper much better! Textured paper absorbs ink better. Pearly paper is absorbs less ink - for example, it needs more drying time so it doesn't smudge. Some ballpoint pens might not write well. Still, the glittery effect is pretty.

With the pearl paper ones there was only one type of pen that would consistently write on them for some strange reason, every other pen would simply refuse to write anything. I don't really know why they hate the pearl paper, but aesthetically that IS the one I love a lot more haha

2025-03-07 08:26:43 +0000 UTCI've always preferred matte over shiny. If matte + sparkle or matte + holo was an option, that would be really interesting. I also like the texture paper better because I think it shows the details in the art better. :D
