Added 2022-07-22 11:55:24 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite sea fish is goby. I've always wanted to draw a goby. This is a sketch of mudskipper that I uploaded years ago.

It's really cute how they roll around in the mud to stay hydrated. And spitting mud to build a house.
They are amphibious fish.
I expressed their pectoral fins a little differently than when I usually draw other fish. Just like the frog I usually draw.
It's really cool that they're just like fish when they're in the water...
This fish is also found in Korea...
Korea has famous and large tidal flats, so I would like to see them in person someday. Unfortunately I haven't been there yet, but it's on my bucket list.
They aren't usually this flashy.
At the time of mating, the color of the male changes markedly.
