Good and bad news.

I shared my plans for this year with all of you before. I had stated that I would make animations with a more difficult and new system, especially with Blender. I have been collecting the new system for 3 days and I have provided all the parts. During the transition to the new system, for some reason that I cannot understand, the power input part on the hdd was damaged and the hdd does not work. I can't access the archive, especially the comics series, and I'm in a panic. I'm going to take it to a technician tomorrow. It will probably be repaired. My old archive is no problem. All of them are already in my MEGA archive, but there are no new series. So the new partition of Lost Island is in that HDD. :(( Friends, this misfortune saddened me before I could experience the joy of the new system.
The good news is the TK17 has another HDD so I'm not having any problems. I will share the Bonus section this week.

But in the folder I used for sound effects, it was in the broken hdd. :( Because of my busy work, I could not take the HDD to the computer shop today. But I will take it tomorrow. I didn't know if I should be upset that the system I just installed by paying a fortune was constantly giving a black screen error, should I be upset that the hdd was broken, or should I be upset that one of my screens was broken. :) When all of them came one after another, I was very upset. A new bios update for the Motherboard has just come out and I have installed it. I hope this works. There are many companies to recover HDD data. But they are subject to very high fees. Of course, I will do whatever it takes to recover the data, no matter the price. After all, there is an archive of my 4-5 years of work in it. Actually I would always take an external hdd backup. However, in the last few months, I have started to have a very busy life. :) I will keep you informed of the developments. I talked to a computer guy and he said he would just replace the power socket. I hope this works. If it does not fix, I have to buy a hdd motherboard and the delivery may take at least 1 month.

2023-04-01 21:51:38 +0000 UTCAlmost three years ago, I have been under a serious PC breakdown, me too. Several components had "burned". I couldn't afford a new computer. Therefore, I have had to replace what I already had. It took about 4 weeks for parts to be delivered from China. So, for a month, I worked on an old computer which I built for old systems (Win 98, XP and Win 7). Fortunately, it could take over Win 10, but not enough powered for all the programs I use most of the time, especially the games... Anyway, I had at least the essentials. Well, this was to tell you that I know what it’s like to be in this kind of trouble. Next time, don't forget to make a backup of the data before migrate to new material. I sympathize. My old computer's PSU is broken. As if that wasn't enough, now the computer screen is broken. Bad luck is chasing me. I beg you to give me a little more time. You should see my house! There are computer parts everywhere. LOL there is no room left to step.

2023-03-30 16:05:17 +0000 UTCYep that's the sata power connection, 3.3v,5v,12v 3 of each plus 6 grounds for 15 pins and can be jumpered so your data is likely safe and your tech can get the data off. Looks like a 3.5" drive so you need 5v and 12 rails. Although I would suspect the power supply side more than the hard drive I assume you have already tried another power connection. Good luck.
