I love this! When it released in June of 1975 my sister and I sat in the bed of a pickup truck under a camper shell with games and toys and a small light at a drive in where our parents watched the movie and we entertained ourselves. We were 5 and 8 and I vividly remember knocking on the window a time or two and my dad pulled the towel back that was blocking our view and wagged his finger back and forth. I wanted to see the movie SO bad for years after that, finally did when it was on TV. They aired it after an episode of Mork & Mindy (Robin Williams) in 1979 on network TV (ABC) and I *might* have watched it then, but I can't remember. I did see it fairly young, but on TV they typically cut scenes that were too graphic and beeped bad words. It made some things almost unwatchable, but it was on TV so they were more okay with us watching it then. I JUST watched a few scenes from it a few days ago!
