I remembered about that for season six, but I wasn't sure about the previous ones ! Thanks, it totally makes sense !

Back when the show was originally on, all the seasons except for the first one premiered with a double drop, showing the first two eps in a row.

This is indeed a great episode and we could not wait to see your reactions... You still have tremendous insight about the show !!
One thing I noticed is that it takes 2 episodes each time to open the season with a bang, and the 2nd episode might even be better than the 1st. It works like that for almost every season, in my opinion. 301 is a bit underwhelming indeed, they could have ended it with the Pollos Hermanos reveal for more dramatic effect.
So happy you enjoy this fantastic show so much ! The fact that we still watch reactors and talk about it is a testament of how great it is.

Chuck is a con man just like Jimmy, but he pretends he’s a saint. At least Jimmy knows what he is.

So much of this series is about the question of whether or not Chuck is right about Jimmy. It’s a very complex question with many sides. But I will point out that in this episode, Chuck says “I know my brother,” predicting that Jimmy will break into his house under cover of night and is proven wrong when Jimmy confronts him directly, with no hiding or trickery

I earlier alluded to there being a reason that the season 2 finale 'Klick' was spelled with a 'K'. Take the first letter of each episode of season 2 as an anagram and they can be rearranged to "FRINGS BACK". This was intentional yet no one was supposed to figure it. However someone did realize it and posted to Reddit while season 2 was still airing. Sometime before season 3, Vince Gilligan had confirmed that the anagram was real and that Gus would be in season 3. So it wasn't like publicly promoted as him coming back or anything like that, and I'm sure it was still a surprise to a lot of viewers, but I do recall knowing to expect Fring back before he actually showed up

This episode has so much good stuff in it. It definitely raises the stakes a lot on both the lawyer and cartel sides of the story. The return of a younger, less battle worn Francesca, Gus’ return, Victor’s return. Plus that ending, the camera work as Jimmy explodes is amazing, the rare use of shaky cam is so cool
