i watched both of your reactions to 7 and 8. Told you 8 was a great episode! :) Like I said, the season was like a mountain with a valley in the middle - good at the start and end, not as great in the middle. I'm most encouraged by the producers saying they will be taking fan criticisms into account for seasons 2 and 3. Everyone who works on the show loves the OG ATLA and you can definitely tell. Loved your reference to Gordon's cadence when delivering lines because me and my friends noticed it too. It's so noticeable, but then again he was 11/12 and an inexperienced actor at the time so it's excusable. He did get coaching, which is more than can be said about Noah Ringer. Shyamalan gave him zero acting lessons.
