Ebay Heads-Up

A lot of people complain about the "EEVblog Ebay Effect" when I do a video on an ebay item and prices suddenly surge and/or sell out. So in case you need a high end AC power source, might be worth looking at this now. I paid US$1200 for mine.
Note, the APS-7050E is a stripped down version.

2025-07-23 16:39:08 +0000 UTCI knew this phenomenon for years as "Techmoan effect". Basically, insert any large youtuber. Not sure if Big Clive is affected though; he covers modern mass-produced gimmicks where scarcity vs desirability is not a problem.
