TVB Preorder Postcard Art

I had this really loose idea once for a side story involving Xmas with Esh's family (Jonah was an only kid and is out of contact with his parents). I don't think I will draw it because if I ever did a side story, I'd wanna draw something kinky owo
I like to think Esh's family was a bit dysfunctional but came together in the end; he has 3 half-sisters and 3 nieces and they are all crazy about him. His stepfather was earnest but found emotional connection difficult; he passed away when the girls were in college. Esh outgrew his stepdad when he was still in middle school; in family portraits he looks clearly like the outsider, a foot taller than everyone else even at 14. He's not close to his family, and even more distant after losing Daisy, but when Jonah comes around, he starts feeling like going home again; their first holiday visit (Christmas, because his mom LOVES Christmas), the whole family is back in one house- his sister and her husband with their triplets, her twin with her 2 dogs, his baby sister dressed up like the COOLEST punk girl you've ever seen (Jonah is instantly desperate to win her approval) and his very sweet old mom. Esh has felt like an outsider in his own family before it existed, but with Jonah next to him, he realizes there was a place for him all along; he just had to be ready to see it~

2022-06-30 19:45:19 +0000 UTCYeah that's him haha; that portrait was their first christmas with Esh's fam (Jonah wore a suit and tie to make a good impression and then regretted it the instant Esh's sister showed up in ripped stocking with like 8 facial piercings). This pic is their 2nd christmas :))

2022-06-29 20:19:16 +0000 UTCThere are tentative plans to do a collected edition with all chapters in one book, but the publisher (Yaoi Revolution) will have to look into the logistics of it before committing to it; it will also probably not be for awhile since we're still selling the individual volumes!
