Bye bye Tumblr

What’s up, dudes.

Welp, my biggest and worst nightmare had finally come true: Tumblr shut down my page (I wonder why they took it so long…)

I’m not even mad about this; I was expecting this to happen ever since they announce the new rules against the NSFW content and NSFW blogs and pages, and reading posts and articles of other artist that got shut down by Tumblr’s “inquisition” againts NSFW art. But I’m very disappointed that Tumblr has to take this action against all the artists and creators who made NSFW art just to “protect” its own reputation on the internet.

And it makes me sad that they delete my page: I had that Tumblr page for more that 8 years or so. So many memories, so many stories, so many posts. Tumblr was one of my favorite places to post my NSFW arts and other adult content. It was my second blog page besides the blog of my website.

I don’t know if I’m ever going to make another new Tumblr page after this. So, from now on, I will use my own website’s blog to post new articles. But, don’t expect to see NSFW in that page. Brother-Tico.com is open for general public, PG-13 visitors. Some fans have suggested me to open a NewGrounds account and/or make a Twitter account where I can upload NSFW art without worrying about being reported by moderators or something.

However, creating a new account in NewGrounds, I think I pass this time. It’s not that I don’t like the page. It just that, having too many accounts in different sites and social medias on the internet is too much work for me, too overwhelm and it takes too much of my time that I could use it to draw, make videos, or writing an article/post like this one.

But don’t worry, I have something better instead: Like I said before, Tumblr was one of my favorite places to post NSFW art, but not the only one. I still have my Pixiv and HF accounts where I can upload NSFW, hentai/porn art freely. So, in some way, I’m okay with this new situation. Go and visit my two pages, by the way. As of creating a new Twitter account for NSFW art only, it’s something that I’m still reconsidering about it. And that’s because I already have a Twitter account for general public only.

In conclusion, no more Tumblr for me (for now); from now on, I will make my posts in my webpage; and, if you want to see my NSFW art, go and visit my Pixiv and my HF pages.
