2025-09-12 16:45:30 +0000 UTCCheck out slides 10-16 about coax drip loops. A simple U in the cable would stop water so it makes no sense. A clue around slides 15-16 is the loop provides slack, I wonder if there's also a minimal cable length needed for the particular application to eliminate standing waves (not sure what wavelength satellite receives would be but google suggests 1-10cm so idk perhaps a hangover from TV which are in the metre range? https://www.slideshare.net/slideshow/dish4you-cables-and-connectors/6217991#13
