Airplane Question that Drove Me NUTS!!!

Hey! You like rant videos, because I'll be ranting my thoughts out here! Would be funny if all my thoughts are absolutely wrong, which won't be a huge surprise!

Airplane Question that Drove Me NUTS!!!

These types of hypotheticals I think are important to truly understanding some of the fundamentals of how things work - this one I think is a good example. Increasing interaction with the video/content is an added plus for the content creators. BTW how do you know there are no unicorns for sure??

if the engines run they produce thrust, the ground is not relevant excepting the wheels will spin faster, the plane would still accelerate along the moving runway and when the speed of air over the wings is fast enough to generate lift it will take off. of course the wheel will get hot and there might be a friction components, but it will not stop the plane flying

Hell no, the air going through engines does not provide lift force. The air has to go around the wings, which in the case does not.

The wheels are irrelevant, they are just there to reduce friction. The engines are providing the forward thrust against the air, not the ground. It isn't the wheels that are providing the forward force, and will just spin faster, though might take into account friction. The plane will generally take off just fine. After watching video: huh, didn't consider other cases, I'd still say it can take off though, seems unlikely that there could be created enough friction.
