Looking for lower Cost Lulzbot 3D printer?

I couldn't get you a discount code, but I got the next best thing. They are selling their refurbished printers at MUCH lower price. And frankly these printers are relatively simple designs and a refurbished unit should be as good as new. Yet it still comes with 90 day warranty.

Here's the link if you  are interested:

Wow I never thought I could afford one of these. Thank you for sharing the refurb info! I can actually get one of these now!

A 3D printer is one of the best investments I ever made!! My son loves it and it's really opened him up to the possibilities of engineering and CAD. It reminds me of the opportunities my father gave my brother and I when he became an early adopter of the personal computer. 3D printers aren't cheap but they can be a doorway into another world.

WOW, the cheapest is more than my salary... I ordered to China the AnetA8 to print another 3d printer with a better extrusor, and a custom microcontroller made with arduino, so i can improve my quality of the prints... 3d printing world is expensive!

Prusa MK3 is the better choice, the kit is $750 I believe. I’ve got one

You are a scholar and a gentleman sir. Thank you for your very quick and informative reply!

It's stll too expensive.

I'm not in the market for that sort of thing, Mehdi, but I appreciate you going to the effort of scoring us a deal.

Sounds like a search cloud for naughty videos lol

pressed enter too early! anyways, there are a few keywords you should look for if you want improved experience like: firm body (low vibration helps quality), nozzle size (if you want more resolution, you want smaller nozzle size), printable volume (larger makes bigger), number of print heads (if you want more than one material printed at the same time, like a different and cheaper material for support structure), heated bed (helps keep the print attached while printing), low noise, fast, delta versus Cartesian printers... etc! Also quality depends on the material you use and your own experience too. 3D printing is not super straight forward. Lulzbot Mini is a pretty good printer but you could get much cheaper printers too.

It mostly depends on how much quality you expect for your printed work. You could get something for much lower price, like printer kits you would put together for around $150 or less. And their print quality might be OK. Nowadays there are reviews of everything on youtube, make sure you watch those.

Opinions appreciated: Do I want a mini? I am a 3d printer n00b, but a great diy for mechanical and electrical things; so repair/upgrades is nbd for me. I had previously considered getting that mono price one. I'm sure this is much better but it's also much more even at this greatly reduced cost.

Awesome, thanks for the link
