Scotch 80 at the Palms is a wonderful dining experience, with beautiful ambiance, great food and friendly servers. It was restaurant week in Las Vegas where dining out means giving back to Three Square Food Bank ~ a good meal, a good value and a great cause. This was my third time back and it did not disappoint, especially with some Redbreast 12 🤗 I should also note, that they have Social Hour M-Thurs. 5p-630p.
Afterwards, a quick drive to The Smith Center in Downtown Las Vegas, which is a beautiful art deco venue, for the production of “Girl from the North Country". It’s a musical based around Bob Dylan’s massive record collection. I believe there are over 28 of his songs in the show. It was very impressive how they weaved the songs throughout the storyline, which takes place in the early 1930s in Duluth, MN. The actors and singers were terrific! I’m not too familiar with Dylan’s music, but I really enjoyed it.
