Exploring Cockatoo Island!

I once again return to Sydney for some more adventures! Today I’m exploring this bizarre but historically rich mini island in Sydney called Cockatoo island! Bizarrely, not a place to see vast quantities of the sulphur crested birds you can find in and around Sydney, but a historic prisoner location, as well as at one point in time, a major ship building yard :O
While I’m not an engineer by trade (or indeed have bloody any idea about engineering at all lol), I found the whole place so fascinating (plus it had that abandoned building vibe that I adore).
