Whiskey Wednesday

Well, I must admit that I don't have a whiskey this week for review and I'm behind on several gifts of whiskey that I received over the holidays. I have been enjoying some of my favorites. If I had to pick one go to whiskey, it would be Redbreast PX. It's definitely one of my favorites. Whenever I have Redbreast 21 or 27, I always feel guilty unless it's a special occasion. I also love several of the Greenspot series and Writer's Tears. Teeling small batch is a constant in my cabinet, but it isn't very eventful. Just thinking about a glass of whiskey on a cold day can start to warm me up.

I do love a good bourbon, but I must admit that I have a much more difficult time choosing. I can't quite distinguish the subtle notes as well. They tend to be more of yes or no for me. I think a lot of times, the bourbons are much stronger and one can start out well, but then have are harder ending.
