When I was young, my father was always watching old war films and since there was only one tv, I was kind of stuck. I really wasn't into it, but one thing I did pay attention to is that the soldiers always bartered in French stockings, no matter where they were. That and perfume seemed more precious than eggs. I really didn't understand. Were the French the only people that made stockings? Were they that much different? Today, I'm much more understanding. I used to laugh when a soldier pulled a pair out of his uniform and the woman would be all over it. Somehow, I thought they were magic stockings. I guess you could really say that they are because of the power they have over men. That was the secret. 😉
I'm ready for this weekend, but I'm definitely going to try and stay indoors since we've got a bit of a heatwave going on. Makes me wonder how Vegas ever got built. I'll just be waiting here with these long legs and a cool drink anytime you want to get out of the heat. 💋
Have a beautiful weekend!
