I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Today's whiskey pick is an Irish Whiskey called Dingle, that is very hard to find here in Las Vegas and I was thrilled when I was gifted this bottle from a new friend in Colorado. I tend to be very sensitive to a smokey finish, which this one definitely has. But, I started to enjoy it after the third sip. I probably would add a bit of ice or water, just for that reason alone, but I did drink it neat and it definitely grew on me. Here is some more info.

Notes from Master of Malt:
Dingle Single Malt No. 4 produced over in south-west Ireland has been drawn from a combination of bourbon, sherry and port casks. The marriage of casks is a harmonious one, with generous helpings of dried fruit and vanilla. Just 2,000 bottles of this whiskey were produced.
Nose: A creamy mixture of chocolate and vanilla alongside sherried dried fruit and toffee.
Palate: A distinct winey note, with more vanilla, oak, dried apricot and sultanas with a good helping of malt.
Finish: Gingersnap biscuits, dark chocolate and a hint of refreshing citrus.
