A poll for spirits
Added 2021-10-07 02:29:35 +0000 UTCSince we're getting into real whiskey season (at least for me since we're starting to get cooler weather), I thought I would start by asking all of you what kinds of spirits you like, if any. As most of you know, I'm very partial to Irish Whiskey and I realize that it's kind of a niche. I do also like a good bourbon and other spirits, but I'm very curious about what all of you think? When I go out, I like to try a cocktail that the restaurant might be known for, but at home, it's pretty simple and neat. πCheers!

2021-10-07 05:10:32 +0000 UTCIβm similar. There are times that I go out and make a cocktail of blueberry vodka, cranberry, elderflower, and lime. But at home, it is normally a glass of single malt. I need to drink more at home, as my collection of bottles is growing faster than Iβm drinking.

I like my Tito's martinis (extra dirty) Also, mostly red wine (Cabs and Merlots), and have recently graduated to explore Whiskey, Bourbon and other related spirits... I have really enjoyed tracking down some of your highlighted whiskeys from Whiskey Wednesdays. Grew up in the upper Midwest where supper clubs and "Old Fashioned's" were the drinks of choice... recently with new micro distilleries all over I've started revisiting them as well.
