Throwback Thursday
Added 2021-08-19 14:48:55 +0000 UTCThis collection is for a dear friend in the far northwest. It really should be titled "Blue Rush" after seeing all the blue in these images. Are you a car person? The Audi is long gone, but not the love for fast cars. This is a collection of two different sets and I had a blast doing both of them. It was actually really amazing to find a portion of McCarran airport that was virtually deserted. Not easy, let me tell you.
The idea for the airport came from that romantic period when people really dressed up to travel. I really love those images. Today, I think most people wear their pajamas when they travel. As cramped as things have become on planes, I can't say I always blame them, but I do like to look put together when I travel.
For some reason these images make me think of cooler weather and as much as I love the pool, I'm really ready for the temperatures to cool down. Hopefully in the next couple of months, I can get out and do some more of these.

Another ideal car would be those from my favorite childhood TV shoes: The General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard and the old Ford pickup truck from Sanford and Son.
