Dirndl

Before I went, I kept thinking of fun things I could for all of you, so I thought I would try to make it a little more authentic with a Dirndl dress from the Alps. I usually wait until the last minute to come up with these things and can't pull it off, but I got lucky with this one. It actually shipped from Germany in three days. Talk about efficient.
It was a lot of fun and I was shocked that it fit. They must be used to fitting busty women, since I usually have to try a couple of sizes on. It's actually several layers and was beautifully made. I'm thinking I should save it for Oktoberfest this year. π

Seriously, when I used to travel, I loved going up north to authentic German restaurants with waitresses dressed like this. For some reason, you just gave me an appetite for sauerbraten, vienerschnitzel, spazel, and of course apple streudel. As usual, you look so beautiful with such a unique outfit.
