Added 2021-01-21 17:44:47 +0000 UTCThese photos came about from a contest donation drive for NPR. (Local National Public Radio for those that don't live in the U.S). I ended up winning a couple of nights at the El Cortez Cabana Suites, which are located in Downtown Las Vegas across from the El Cortez Hotel. I was excited because at the time, they were newly renovated rooms with a retro feel. My excitement quickly faded when I walked into the tiny room. It was like they just glossed over it. An old motel-like environment with black carpet and neon green walls. When you have lemons, you must make lemonade, so we took things in stride and got creative. I think we ended up getting some fun and different photos. Sometimes you don't know what you have until after the fact. But, if you are ever thinking of staying in Downtown Las Vegas, you might make another choice! 😂

I would not notice the budget surroundings if I was with an amazing woman like you!! And, I have had to stay in Super 8’s before, rather than commute one hundred mike’s one way to a client. By the way, Picture 1 is amazing.
