Today’s Whiskey Wednesday pick is Jack Ryan Beggars Bush – The Bourdega – 15 Year Old finished in first use Oloroso Sherry casks. The Ryans have been in the whiskey business for 6 generations. In the 2000s, Jack Ryan, established The Jack Ryan Whiskey Company, with a clear focus on quality finishing of premium single malt whiskeys.
I thought this whiskey was a very nice choice. Complex at the finish, it got better with each tasting. It’s always interesting to read the notes after a tasting, as I really see my leaning towards the sweet notes 😊. I could see myself liking it even more as I become more experienced.
Cheers to a great rest of the week! 🥃
