Whiskey Wednesday
Added 2020-05-20 18:07:37 +0000 UTCNot sure which is sexier? The stockings or the bottle of whiskey! This is Green Spot, a Single Pot Still Whiskey. I will be honest, I found this Irish spirit to be so, so. Others I have talked to, really love it. But this is why I find it so interesting to share this information. Taste is subjective, and what is really good to one person, may not be to another. In my limited experience so far, I think I prefer a more caramel and sweeter whiskey, but I'm still learning and developing my palette.
Now the stockings are a favorite by a new company "La Dame de France". I loved the color of these stockings and the design on the heel. Wonderful feel with a nice firm stretch.

Nose: Hints of peppermint, malt, sweet barley, sugary porridge, creamy vanilla, papaya and citrus.
Palate: Spicy and soft, gentle bourbon oak, green woods, menthol, potpourri.
Finish: Creamy, long finish, vanilla.
