Bingeworthy?

With this extra time at home, I am super grateful for streaming tv and movies. I've always been a fan of movies and television. Having lived in LA for a few years, I loved the magic of Hollywood, studios and celebrity sightings. I have been a bit behind on keeping up with recent movies, so I'm hoping to catch up on some. Any suggestions out there? How about a series?  I tend to prefer dramas or comedies, but I'm pretty open unless it has a ton of violence. Then I have nightmares and can't go to sleep :/ Anyways, I just started watching "A Handmaid's Tale", which is very good and pretty intense. It has lots of messages about society, religion and politics. On a lighter note, I've almost finished "Derry Girls", which is super hilarious and lighthearted for the most part. Don't you dread it though, when you are about to finish a series? I'm always at such a loss after a finale until I get into something new.  I feel like I need to fill up my queue, before I watch the last couple episodes so that I have something to pull from when I finish. Does anyone else get that way too?

Oh, by the way...There is a new photo in "Pretty in Blue" set ;-)

Ozark has been in my queue for a bit now. I'll have to try it. I started Afterlife, but didn't get through the 1st episode. I think I need to give it another chance. Sometimes, you have to go back to things, that maybe you weren't in the mood for the first time around!

Ozark is amazing, gets a bit dark though. For a comedy that will have you in tears of joy and sadness I’d recommend Ricky Gervais in “Afterlife”. Seasons 1 and 2 equally good. These from a Brit.

John Vocking

It’s modern times, but set in Wyoming and has a western feel.

Joseph Johnson

It's a western right? I'll look for it.

Jordan Ashley

I haven't heard of it. I will check it out!

Yes! I'm watching the current season and you are right, the fashion is incredible and it is funny. Definitely takes you back to that time. I especially enjoyed the episode that took them to Vegas ;-)

Have you seen The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime? It’s a 1950’s dramedy series about a woman who decides to become a stand up comedian. My sister turned me onto it and it’s really funny and the fashion is incredible!

MikeH

Funny is good during these times! Thank you.
