A little about me...
Added 2020-04-28 17:33:23 +0000 UTCI was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved to California when I was just a toddler. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and grew up watching my Mom dress in stockings, suits, beautiful dresses and high heels. She had a love for clothing, as she was a seamstress for some time and made most of her clothes when she was young girl. She really loved her shoes, and I remember how beautiful they all were, as well as all her perfectly paired accessories. I remember resisting it all for a while, as I loved sports, swimming and playing basketball. I didn’t have time or realize the value of all of it.
But as I got older, and wiser…I started to appreciate all the details and effort that she went through to look so beautiful. I remember her telling me stories of how her and her sister would get ready for a Club dance in Buenos Aires when they were young women. They would press their dresses, spend all day doing their hair and make-up just right, so that boy they were crushing on, would ask them to dance. All the girls did that, and from photos, I saw how gorgeous they all looked. If you go to Buenos Aires today, you will see women dressed to the nines, either heading to work or going out on the town.
One of my favorite memories I have of my parents, is when they would dress up to go dancing. They could dance Tango together beautifully and I always loved watching them do a few rounds for my sister and I, before they would head out. My mom in a gorgeous dress, stockings and sexy high heels and my father dressed to impress. They looked like something out of the movies.

2021-04-09 19:45:41 +0000 UTCI'm not very good at dancing although I appreciate couples that can dance immensely. Up until a few years ago I'd attend an annual scuba diving trip to Curacao. On weekends the resort we'd stay at would get an influx of guests from Venezuela visiting for the weekend. I've never seen such spectacular dancing as I've seen done at the resort night club. It's hypnotic. I'd stand there for hours memorized just watching and appreciating. And both the men and women were always dressed to the T's and they looked gorgeous. Thanks for the story.
