The New Supreme Kai (IWRAF Chap 32)

“G-GUH!” A voice grunted, and Kibito hunched over a fist, and then was sent rocketing downward as another fist slammed into his face. He rolled through the air before crashing roughly into a rocky floor, causing a crater to form in the process.

“Hahahaha! You’ll regret messing with the boss, ugly!”

“Lord Cold will teach you a lesson for locking us up down here! We’re not souls anymore!”

“Kibito!” Shin grunted, but didn’t have time to assist his attendant, as he yanked his arms up to block a fist from pressing into his own gut. The block only gave him a moment of reprieve, as a purple tail lashed out and slammed into his face immediately after. He was sent skidding back from the force, wincing as he reached up to touch his face.

“Ha! The little one can’t keep up with Lord Cooler either!”

“We’re busting out of here today!”

All around the duo of Kai’s, there were countless aliens, all of whom were watching the fight with their full attention. They were a strange sight in the otherwise rather empty and rocky plane that was hell, and their words only worked to put more pressure on the shoulders of Shin and Kibito. Despite their words, the crowd of aliens knew they wouldn’t stand a chance against the Supreme Kai and his attendant - but they didn’t need to, because they had much more powerful bosses to back up their words for them.

“D-Don’t worry about me, Shin! I’ll be fine!” Kibito grunted, shoving himself to his feet as he glared at King Cold, “They’re both indeed very powerful, but nothing we can’t handle!”

“...Hah, you’re correct as usual, Kibito,” Shin muttered, reaching up as he wiped a trail of blood off his chin, but grinned lightly as he did, “You’re both stronger than I expected, but not strong enough to defeat us.”

His words were directed at the towering, purple-white alien in front of him, as Cooler scoffed in response, “We don’t have time to deal with you weaklings. Move out of my way, so we can go teach that little brother of mine a lesson.”

“Don’t treat them carelessly, son,” King Cold intervened, watching as Kibito tensed in front of him and shifted into a fighting stance, “The one you’re fighting is particularly strong. Keep ‘that’ in mind…”

“Hah? You want to use it here?” Cooler shot back, looking over at him doubtfully, but then sighed as he glanced back to Shin, “I suppose there’s no harm in doing so. He’s decently strong, and it’s not like we can’t use it again.”

“Quit speaking as if we aren’t right in front of you!” Shin shouted as he lunged forward, cratering the rocky floor under his feet as he lunged at Cooler, “I’ll show you just how powerful I am!”

He proved his point by catching Cooler off-guard with his speed, and a pale white fist slammed directly into Cooler’s face, sending the alien stumbling back. As he was off balance, Shin shot forward, his leg sweeping out as his foot made contact with Cooler’s leg, and then swept the man off-balance.

Kibito took advantage of the distraction and lunged at King Cold, his fists clenched as he shot forward. King Cold’s eyes widened as he jerked his gaze away from Cooler and back to the man in front of him, but he was too slow as Kibito’s fist slammed into his gut, causing the alien to grunt as he stumbled back. Kibito didn’t give him a chance to recover, and his other fist slammed into King Cold’s face, causing blood to trail from the alien’s face as he stumbled back.

As Kibito pushed back King Cold, Shin didn’t let up either. As Cooler stumbled back, Shin’s fist slammed into Cooler’s stomach, causing him to hunch over in pain, and then his knee shot up into Cooler’s face.

“Grah!” Cooler grunted, backpedalling as he created space between himself and Shin with an annoyed look on his face, “You’re strong for such a small man. If I hadn’t been training with my brother in mind, then I would be at a disadvantage.”

“I don’t like to bond with those I’m going to kill. It makes me feel bad, so…” Shin shot back, his eyes narrowed seriously as he shifted into a fighting stance, “Let’s just stick to fighting.”

Cooler’s eyes narrowed back as he shifted into his fighting stance again, and the two stared each other down. Meanwhile, Kibito wasn’t faring as well against King Cold, as the ex-tyrant had recomposed himself and was paying back the blows he had taken in full. His fist pounded into Kibito’s chest, causing him to grunt as he stumbled back, and then the kai-attendant took an abrupt and unexpected tail to the gut.

Kibito hunched over the limb, his eyes popping out as he let out a grunt of pain, and then was sent flying back as the bottom of King Cold’s foot stomped directly into his face. The towering alien raised his hand, a ball of purple Ki appearing on it as he launched the attack after Kibito. However, Kibito recovered his balance as he flipped mid-air, raising his arms as both his palms pointed at King Cold. As he did, twin blasts of Ki shot forward and made contact with the incoming Ki-attack - exploding it mid-air with a burst of smoke.

“Hah… if this had been only a few months ago, this would’ve been much more difficult,” To the side of Kibito and King Cold, Shin was going against his own previous words as he ducked under a wild punch from Cooler, and then responded with a punch of his own to the alien’s face, “I can’t even remember the last time I trained seriously, but…”

Shin ducked around Cooler, avoiding another swipe of his fist as the kai used his smaller frame to his advantage, and shot a Ki-blast point-blank into Cooler’s back. Cooler stumbled forward from the blast, hissing in pain as his skin burned away, but as he spun around, he took another punch to the face.

“Your brother had me a bit worried lately,” Shin finally grinned, his leg lashing out as Cooler stumbled back, and hitting a roundhouse kick directly into the alien’s nose, “It was Beerus’ will to ignore him before, but with that power he gained… I don’t think I’d be able to do anything at this point!”

Cooler was sent flying back head-first from the force of the kick, landing flat on his back as he let out a shout of pain, and the rocky floor crumbled under his weight. He hastily rolled to the side, avoiding a follow-up Ki blast from Shin, and shoved himself to his feet shakily, before glaring at Shin.

“You damn…” He trailed off, his face twisted in anger, as he glanced over at his father, who was also struggling. King Cold stumbled as Kibito danced around him, a flurry of jabs smacking him from different angles as the ex-tyrant lashed out wildly, but was unable to keep up with the faster Kai.

“It’s time, father!” Cooler shouted over, his face twisting in annoyance, “I hate to say this, but they’re too strong!”

“Grah… you’re right,” King Cold just grunted in response, lunging backwards as he created space between him and Kibito, and then glanced over at a specific group of individuals in the crowd around them, “Ginyu! Be ready!”

“Got it, Lord Cold!” A purple alien replied, his lips twitched up in a large, cruel grin as he stared down Shin. In response, the Supreme Kai glanced over at Kibito, yelling out a warning.

“Keep your guard up, Kibito! That purple alien is Ginyu, from Frieza’s Ginyu Force! He has the ability to switch bodies!” Kibito nodded in response, his face set in stone as he tensed.

“As long as we don’t get hit by the technique, then we’ll be fine”! Kibito agreed, his eyes darting over to Ginyu, and then back to King Cold, “That alien is much too weak to catch us off guard!”

“That’s true, but…” Cooler’s face twisted into a large, cruel grin as he glanced over at the crowd of aliens and gave out an order, “All of you! Attack him right now!”

“W-What?” Shin blinked in surprise as Cooler jutted his finger at him. However, he was forced to focus completely on fighting a moment later, as a large orange alien came lunging at him from behind - only to get a quick punch to the face before Shin turned back to Cooler.

The crowd stopped their watching as they obeyed their leaders' orders, knowing that the alternative would be worse than death, as they charged at a Kai they had no chance of defeating. As they did, the result was just as the aliens, and Cooler, expected - they got their ass kicked.

Alien after alien shot forward, intent on attacking Shin, only for the Supreme Kai to dance through the attacks effortlessly, and lash out with his own that knocked them out easily. Punches made contact with faces, kicks with stomachs, and alien after alien was sent crashing back into the rocky surface of hell.

“It doesn’t matter how many of you there are!” Shin shouted, his face tensed with focus as he dodged a punch, and then countered with his own, which sent a blue alien rocketing backwards into a crater, “You’re all too weak! If you think you can hold me down for the technique, then you’re sorely mistaken!”

“Hold you down? Not at all!” Shin blinked, his eyes going wide as Cooler abruptly lunged to the side, bursting through the air and tackling Kibito as the attendant was dodging a punch from King Cold.

“Kibito!” Shin called out roughly, his legs tensing as he shot forward to help, but stumbled lightly as a massive alien tackled him from the side and threw off his balance. It was only for a moment, but it was all the time Cooler needed.

“Y-You cowards! H-How dare you-” Kibito grunted as he tried to throw Cooler off of him, only for King Cold to jump in as they held down the attendant.

“Hah? You thought I would play fair?” Cooler just smirked, and as he did, a certain purple alien shouted from above.

“Hah! Good work, Lord Cooler! Lord Cold!” Ginyu shouted, and Shin’s eyes went wide as he threw off the alien tackling him, and then dodged a punch from another one.

“D-Damn it! I wasn’t the target!” He grunted, launching upwards towards Ginyu as he realized the crowd attacking him was just a diversion. But, he was too late.

“CHANGE!” Ginyu shouted, and his mouth opened as a beam of yellow light shot forward, bursting through the air as Cooler rolled out of the way, and the beam slammed directly into Kibito.

“K-Kibito!” Shin screamed in horror, but could only watch as the two souls switched, and suddenly the situation was flipped on its head.

“W-What? O-Oh no! Shin… I got…” The former purple body of Ginyu shouted as he stared down at his old body in horror, watching as former-Kibito and current-Ginyu climbed to his feet with a grin, “S-Shin! That isn’t me! I got hit by the tech-”

He didn’t get to finish that sentence, and Shin’s eyes went even wider with horror as a thin, lightning-fast beam of purple suddenly pierced right through the middle of his forehead. Kibito’s new body was far too slow to dodge the beam that came from Cooler’s finger, and the Kai brain was fried as his body slumped, and he hurtled down into the surface of hell. He landed with a thud. Shin launched down to the surface immediately, landing beside Kibito, but then took a nervous, wide-eyed step back as Kibito was nothing but a corpse.

“K-Kibito…” He stuttered, but he didn’t have any time to grieve as Cooler stalked towards him, his face twisted in a wide, cruel grin.

“Now, you said you were the Supreme Kai, right? That seems like a pretty important job,” Shin took another step back, terror filling his eyes as Cooler towered above him, slowly walking forward, “Unfortunately for you, I promised Ginyu a promotion. So…”

Shin’s body tensed, his fearful gaze locking with Cooler’s cruel one.

“We’ll be taking that body.”

“You… you want me to take you to Otherworld?” Kami stared at me a bit blankly, looking confused, “Why… why does someone like you want to go there?!”

“I don’t have to explain myself to you,” I replied dryly, casually holding up my hand as a small ball of Ki formed on it, and Kami’s back stiffened fearfully, “But if you really must know, it’s because my father and brother are breaking out of hell as we speak.”

I assumed so, at least. If I were an evil bastard, and I got randomly revived after months, or years in King Cold’s case, of being in hell, I’d definitely be trying to break out.

“Y-Your father and brother?!” Kami’s jaw practically dropped, his eyes filling with terror, “T-There’s more of you?!”

“Don’t worry, we don’t get along,” I chuckled at his horrified expression, “I’m going there to put them back in their graves. Though, I suppose if they beg hard enough, I’d consider letting them be my subordinates…”

I doubted that the proud King Cold or Cooler would ever do that, but having two more powerful and decently fast-growing subordinates would be nice. It would overall make ruling my empire easier, and it’d help with the Mortal Level, while also just making my life all around easier, since I could order them to oversee areas of my Empire.

Of course, that was only if I could convince them not to be bloodthirsty tyrants who would kill me at the first opportunity they got. I was more doubtful at that part, so, more likely than not, I was just going to go kill them.

“P-Please don’t… I can’t even fathom two more of you…” Kami groaned, reaching up to rub his head, but then finally nodded as he reached out and placed a hand on my shoulder, “But, fine, I will take you to Otherworld.”

“Good,” I hummed, reaching to my side and casually wrapping my arm around Android 18’s waist, who flushed in response. A moment later, we all three vanished, and suddenly I was standing in front of King Yemma’s desk.

“How do you even do that anyway?” I muttered, raising an eyebrow at Kami, who blinked in response to my words.

It wasn’t like he could use Instant Transmission, nor the Kai-Kai technique like the Kai’s used to get around - as he was essentially just a random Namekian, and not a Kai. Fortune Teller Baba could use the same teleportation method Kami could, and even Popo could on his flying carpet, but I had no idea how they were doing it.

“Um… I just… teleport,” Kami explained poorly, causing me to look at him blandly, and then sigh as he unhelpfully didn’t elaborate.

“Whatever. Just stay here until we return,” I told him bluntly, narrowing my eyes at him slightly, which caused him to take a nervous step back, “I have other ways to return, so don’t even think about leaving, alright? I’ll remember it, and when I get back, Dende will need to find a new mentor.”

“I-I won’t!” Kami confirmed nervously, and King Yemma finally spoke, staring at the conversation uncertainly.

“A-Ahem, Kami, it’s good to see you again, and is this… is this…” King Yemma just pointed at me nervously, not being subtle in the slightest. I ignored him, just shutting my eyes as I reached out with my senses.

“Y-Yes, this is the alien that has been causing troubl- a-ahem, I mean, this is Lord Frieza, who's been… he’s been… helpfully… reorganizing… Earth?” Kami finally bit out, his words a jumbled mess as he was trying to convey that I was, indeed, the alien who conquered Earth, but in a way that wouldn’t piss me off.

“D-Does your hand have to still be there? I-I don’t really mind, but…” My eyes were closed as Android 18 asked her question, but I could tell she was blushing as my hand was still around her waist. I answered her question not with words, but with an action, a moment later.

As in - we vanished, disappearing from in front of King Yemma’s desk, and appearing a moment later in what was essentially a wasteland. All around us, the ground was rocky and plain, and there were towering dead trees, which had no leaves and were shriveling up.

“Welcome to hell,” I muttered to Android 18, staring at the back of a white head in front of us.

“H-Hell?” 18 blinked at me, looking over dryly, “If I knew we were going here, I would’ve stayed on the ship.”

“Nope! You said ‘anywhere’ was better than being in your room all day,” I smirked in response, and our conversation had caught the attention of the man in front of us - or, more specifically, the many men in front of us, “But, this won’t take long. They all gathered together so nicely for me, didn’t they?”

The first man, and the person whose energy I had sensed and used Instant Transmission on, was pretty powerful - his energy hovering around five billion in total, which made sense, considering he was the Supreme Kai of this world. Past him, there was also the red-skinned Kibito, who was his attendant.

Past that was where the situation got a bit weird, as I had expected the two Kai’s to be alone, and when I had sensed more energy signatures with them, I had thought they would be in a fight. Instead, they were simply standing with a crowd of aliens - a crowd of aliens, which included King Cold and Cooler.

“Hey, keep it down! We’re discussing how to take down that snake Frieza, so stop-” I blinked in surprise as Shin turned around, and shouted at me in a very un-Shin-like cadence, and then took a step back as his eyes went wide, “L-Lord Frieza?!”

The Supreme Kai saw me, and his first reaction was to call me ‘Lord Frieza?’ Either my aura-farming had reached so far that even the Supreme Kai was in awe of my power, or more likely, there was some bullshit going on here.

“W-What?!” Cooler also shouted out, stomping forward as he shoved an alien out of the way, and then looked at me with wide eyes, “What the hell?! How are you here?!”

“Heh, did you die as well, son?” King Cold smirked at me, apparently feeling more bold than Cooler as he stalked forward, looking down on me as he was a giant even by normal standards, and especially compared to my short frame, “Regret betraying your family now, don’t you?”

“I’m here because I want to be, and not because I got my ass kicked like you did,” I replied back dryly, smirking as I caused King Cold to tense as his hands clenched into fists, “Though I’m starting to feel like I wasn’t invited to a family reunion. I didn’t expect such a crowd.”

I glanced around, my eyes scanning over the various aliens assembled, which included Cooler’s Armored Squadron, various minions who had died over the years, and even the Ginyu Force. Though, notably, there was a lack of a certain Ginyu Force captain.

“And, I didn’t expect the Supreme Kai to be all buddy-buddy with a bunch of evil doers breaking out of hell,” I hummed, glancing over at Shin, who stiffened as my gaze landed on him, “That’s a little bit suspicious, isn't it?”

I had expected Shin and Kibito to be fighting for their lives to hold back the revived King Cold and Cooler, but instead, they were just standing here, and apparently, scheming with them to take me down? On the surface, that wasn’t actually that suspicious, as with my huge gain in power lately, along with my empire expanding further than it ever had before, I was certain that the Kai’s, and not just King Kai, had taken note of me. In fact, I wouldn’t even put it past them to work with my father and brother in an attempt to take me down.

But, as Shin stared up at me fearfully, after him referring to me as ‘Lord Frieza,’ it wasn’t hard to realize that something was wrong. And, as I glanced to the side and looked at a certain purple corpse lying only a dozen feet away in a pool of blood, my smirk dropped, and a sense of horror kicked in.

“That’s not me!” And, as if he could read my thoughts, Kibito abruptly called out to me, jutting his finger at Shin, “Frieza! I am Shin, the real Supreme Kai, but my body was stolen by-”

“BE QUIET!” He was promptly shut up as Cooler’s fist slammed into the side of his face, and he was sent crashing into the crowd around him, “Ginyu, do it-GUH!”

“You just really pissed me off, y’know?” I said bluntly, my skin flaring outward with power as it became golden in the blink of an eye, and I appeared in front of Cooler quicker than he could ever hope to react. My arm lashed out, and my hand grabbed his neck roughly as I dragged his head down - locking his eyes with mine as there was no small amount of venom in them.

“This was supposed to be easy… I just kick your ass, send you back to hell, maybe make you beg for your life a bit - but, no,” I hissed, roughly swinging Cooler’s entire body to the side, and slamming him roughly into King Cold as he moved towards me, “You just had to go and fuckin’ steal the Supreme Kai’s body! Fuck!”

The Supreme Kai! Y’know, that guy whose life was tied together with Beerus? With the God of Destruction, who’d die if Shin died, and would get our universe into a fuck-ton of trouble with the guy who can erase the entire thing with the snap of his fingers?

“C-CHA-”

“You’re so fuckin’ lucky I can’t kill you.” I interrupted bluntly, spinning around as I shot forward and slammed a fist directly into Shin-Ginyu’s stomach. He hunched over my hand, his eyes wide with pain, but I held back enough not to kill him.

“Supreme Kai, you wouldn’t happen to know if it’s your soul or your body that’s tied to the God of Destructions, would you?” I called out to Shin, who was stumbling back to his feet in Kibito’s body.

“A-Ah, it’s… I… don’t know?” Shin blinked, apparently never considering that, but his answer wouldn’t have really mattered anyway.

If it was his soul, then Shin's death wouldn’t actually kill Beerus - instead, they’d have to kill Shin, then find Shin’s soul in Otherworld, and then kill that. That could definitely be how it worked, but I didn’t know for sure, and I couldn’t just test it - because if it was Shin’s body, then I’d kill Beerus by killing Ginyu, and I didn’t know if even the Dragon Balls could resurrect a God of Destruction. And, even if they could, there was no good outcome that came from Beerus dying - either the universe gets erased, or Beerus gets revived, and then promptly kills me for killing Shin’s body, which Ginyu was in.

It was a risk I couldn’t take, which left me in a very, very sticky situation right now.

“I’m stuck with this bastard,” I sighed, staring down Shin-Ginyu as he coughed, clutching at his stomach in pain. I was stuck with a body-switcher that I couldn’t kill, and in a situation where the Dragon Balls were on their wish cool-down.

Suddenly, being a universal tyrant was feeling a lot less fun.

“Did you know you’re kind of hot when you’re angry?”

“Damn it! Not the time, 18!”

Yes but you have to keep in mind that most Supreme Kai aren't actually fighters. So they have far less experience, which works against them. And also, King Cold and Cooler trained to be far stronger here. The former cuz of Frieza, and the latter cuz he wanted to kill Frieza.

Deathknight134

I feel like kibito and shin are just so much stronger that the should be able to wipe the floor with all of them…like they were definitely stronger then super saiyan 1 which was was far stronger then both king cold and frieza if trunks is anything to go by. The entire plan consisted solely on captain ginyu…why not just shot him?, he can’t dodge it.

Interesting development, but I hope that other lost Freiza won't suddenly come back and become stronger than current Freiza, I get the story needed some drama, but a clone? That's why I don't really like cloning in stories.
