I'm hoping the sound effects will sell the transitions more. I think the shutter click will make it more obvious what's going on which is basically that the photo-taking is interrupting her and causing the transformation. Fair point at 0:29. The photo should feel like it's interrupting her so I'll adjust that. I sort of agree at 1:52 as well but that's a Wan2.2 generation so I'm limited to 5s. There are ways of extending that, but it would require me to figure out a new workflow. I don't want to drag this project out any longer than I already have, so I'll leave that as is, I think.
Thanks so much for the valuable feedback. Very much appreciated!

This is looking great! I will say the camera-freeze frame effect works better in the second half of the shoot... I'm unsure if the transitions just work better, or its just less jarring when Ashton is not talking over them; but the few times Ashton is talking over a freeze-frame are a bit jarring near the start. The effect actually worked really well when the cameraman's lines aligned with a freeze-frame though, so I think my rambling feedback is building toward recommending those photo-transitions to cover cameraman sections, while letting most of Ashton's lines be covered outside the camera's frame of reference?
Going back to try and find some more helpful timestamps: the "it doesn't mean I'm dumb" line at 0:29 feels a bit awkward over the freeze frame; but the "stop talking and focus on posing" around 0:40 works great because it's a freeze frame of her mid-sentence (jiving with why he's telling her to stop talking!).
The transition at 0:50 is nearly perfect! Ashton finishes her line, the cameraman takes over, and if we picked back up as Ashton's saying "like this" (~0:53) instead of 2-3 seconds later it wouldn't be as jarring (when she speaks over a still image of herself again).
The whole sequence from 1:04 through 1:43 is perfectly timed and staged, but the photo after "oppsie!" around 1:52 (where she's giggling) feels like it comes too soon and we miss what could be a classic Bimbo-Ashton reaction. The photo at 2:04 (where he tells her to stop talking) is another great bit of timing though.
Don't get me wrong Blankage, this whole animation is amazing! Please take any and all of that feedback with a grain of salt, you just spend so much time on these animations I feel like you deserve more feedback than just "this whole animation is amazing!" hahaha. Cannot wait to see how this turns out in the end!
