Still chipping away at the slimegirl animations. There's a bit of popping that I need to fix on the knee and at the end of the animation loop. But it's getting there.
Worked on some bug fixes this week as well, nothing super exciting. Polished up another piece of the map. Fixed some of the issues with spell casting and charging up spells. They were costing mana at random times and then still letting the player cast spells when they didn't have enough mana left.
The biggest thing I've been working on though was writing and story line stuff. It's all very work in progress and will get changed as the actual details get figured out. But the main factions are planned out and the endgame scenario is also planned. It's similar to Fallout 4. The main quest should allow the player to choose between the major game factions and then the endgame will play out differently based upon their choices. So the broad picture is really roughed in and will give context to the story and the world. I was also working on the intro content. The town of Redtree and the surrounding content that will introduce the world and the factions and then point the player in the direction of the main quest.
I'm going to start roughing in some of the quests and dialogues in game - the downside is there will be more placeholder NPCs, locations, and content but I think getting a rough implementation in first will let people give suggestions and feedback and make the end content that much better. That's the plan at least.
I'll try to have a build out sometime next month. We'll see how much of the story stuff I can squeeze in by then.
