Fixing bugs and animations

Still on track for a new build this month.  Just going through and fixing some of the major bugs that are popping up.  The last one I tracked down the town NPCs would spawn in and go about their business, then the player would leave town and come back, and the NPCs would just be standing there not moving or reacting to anything.  Turned out the behavior trees weren't always loading in after the first time an NPC would spawn.  

Also going back and fixing up the animation systems that I was halfway finished with when my computer was fried.  The downside is the original source files were lost so I'm exporting fbx files out of the engine and then importing those onto the rig files in Maya but they're coming in like mocap data.  Which means there's a keyframe on every single frame and sometimes the IK joints will freak out and arms and legs go flying everywhere.  It's a bunch of tedious work but it goes quickly.  

Once I get this stuff finished up I'll push out the new build.  Not sure on an exact time estimate but the plan is still before the end of this month.

Cool! I'm glad to hear that. I know the updates aren't always super exciting but that's just sort of how it goes. Sometimes all I'm doing is fixing bugs all week. I think it's important that people who support the project are up to date on how the project is doing.
