The red Grotto:

My idea for this dungeon was that adventurers would have to deal with a living crystal. While it is still a beautiful green color in the front part of the cave, it is blood red in the last room. Dozens of miners were killed by the crystal here. This crystal is very aggressive to blood. The twist is that these people are not completely dead yet. It is true that they are only skin and bones and most organs are irredeemably lost. But the crystal has bored into their bodies and still carries out a few vital functions and provides people with nutrients. This ensures that they still produce blood which the crystal immediately pulls off and absorbs itself.

With a bit of magical knowledge it might be possible to use this crystal to make a good way to stabilize critically injured or recently deceased people and to keep a few basic mechanisms going. Then the person could be transported and saved in a good magical hospital.

Opponents for this dungeon could be normal monsters as well as self-moving extensions of the crystal.

At the moment when the blood of monsters or the adventurer is spilled and falls on a crystal, it will turn red and aggressively stretch out for more.
