An update on v0.2

Hey there cadets!

Work on v0.2 is still ongoing. We've expanded the scope of this release to include some features needed for the future freeroam update. 

Toolbar

The toolbar is available under the character avatar and allows quick access to various game features, such as the inventory, the character sheet and the PDA.

Inventory system

One of these features available in v0.2 is the inventory. As the orientation week storyline plays out, you will already be able to collect some items for later use in freeroam.

Some of these items can be used at will to gain (or cause ;)) effects when used, while others will be situational.

Just like a traditional inventory, items of the same type can be stacked if you happen to have more than one of this kind.

Character sheet

The character sheet is where you will be able to see various details about your character. The overview will allow you to see how your character is seen by others and what clothes you are currently wearing.

At the moment the character image and the associated description are static as we have not yet implemented mods and appearance changes, however one thing that is very much dynamic is your wardrobe!

We have implemented a fully featured clothing system, including descriptions and tags. What you wear will have a huge influence on how you are seen by others and some situations can require you to wear specific clothing. 

For instance, attending class will require you to wear your uniform and although there is standard underwear, you never know who's going to be a bad kitty and wear something which is not quite compliant with standard regulations.

Conclusion

As you can see there is a lot happening behind the scenes and we will continue to provide updates on what's coming in v0.2 :)
