Milk Maid Manager 0.0.2 Hotfix

Ok so I've figured out that the "bug" is from conflicting character paths and can be circumvented by either waiting until something changes (someone becomes hungry, someone's schedule redirects their path, etc) or by redirecting the characters yourself (although, its often not the characters occupying the same space on the screen). Without seeing the code, it's hard to say if the current system can be improved upon but there are definitely playing strategies that minimize the frequency of the blockages. For instance, keeping the cots spaced out and utilizing the area that starts with the milking stool more than the area that starts with the hotplate.

I really like this game. There is a bug, however, that makes it difficult to progress. It's where two characters get stuck on each other and the only way to get them unstuck is to delete one of the characters. It even effects the ability to update the schedule for either of the stuck characters, which I attempted as a workaround. The bug occurs often during the sex sequence, specifically when one character presents and the other has walked past them and needs to turn around and go back. Less frequently, it occurs when two characters appear to be blocking each from completing a task. A common one is where one character goes to get milked and the other is en route to milk them. In this instance, disassembling the milk stand occasionally allows for a workaround, but only if the stand is contributing to the path blockage.

I've found that using growth treatments makes hunger rate skyrocket for a bit, especially if you applied multiple, which might be what you have done. It does end after a while, so probably working as intended. I did find a bug though: A newly built feed trough can't be filled. I demolished the starting one and put it somewhere else and now can't feed any of my cows, even after buying a dozen units of feed.

Thanks, I'll look into it. Can you tell me what the lactation score for that character is? Should be visible in their character readout window. The numbers and balance of everything is still very rough, so it's quite possible that if you, for instance, jack up their lactation high enough, their bodies are burning through food faster than they can eat it. I'll poke at the math and smooth things out.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I'm just doing something wrong, but at a certain point I'm consistently running into an issue where at a certain point. girl will gain hunger faster than she can walk from a bed to a food source, even with full energy, which ends up tanking her happiness and milk production. Not sure how to reproduce it yet, since I haven't found a way to not run into it.
