Back To Business
Added 2024-09-01 03:49:58 +0000 UTCHello everyone!
I'll probably be deleting this post in a week or two or, y'know, sometime next month in general. Given that things should be back to normal™ by then this post won't really be relevant, but since this month has been (mostly) dry on content I'd like to just do a quick post to let everyone know what's been going on.
I've been hard at work! Or, working as hard as I can. The tricky thing about working this month is that after taking an impromptu break over June and July it's been a little difficult to get back into the rhythm that I usually have. When you haven't wrote for a month or two - or programmed, or done much of anything creative - there's naturally a rust that needs to be shaken off. So I've spent most of this month shaking that off and getting back into the routines that I was in before, well, let's just call it the slump that has been the past month or two.
This hasn't been the easiest thing to do in the world. Something something, it's easier to break a habit than it is to make one, something something. The first thing that I tried to do was attacking my half-finished commissions and the half-finished game work head on, but after a week or so of struggling with that (because it's kinda hard to get back into things you were writing months ago) I decided to throw it all out and start over. To clarify, I don't mean I threw out everything related to v1.3 of A Tiny Furry In A Huge World: I just threw out the stuff that was half-wrote and not in the game yet. Everything that's there will remain there because, hey, it's finished and I like it.
This proved to be exactly what I needed to get my motor going again, but it also means that, y'know, a few weeks worth of progress on stuff that I had already done was effectively lost. So most of this month has been spent playing catch up, or, warm up, or, whatever you wanna call it? You know what I mean...
Playing catch up and doing over a month's worth of work again means that there isn't a whole lot to show for my efforts... but what it does mean is that I have a whole bunch of new and very fresh and super inspired content coming soon: as early as this week, actually!
I want to say thank you to everyone for being patient with me during this time. I have the best community ever and you've all been nothing but encouraging during this downtime. I promise that I'll pay back your kindness with what I do best: vore and macro/micro content and all that good stuff!
So, for realsies? I'm gonna see you all in a couple of days with a story. Yes, the final version of A Tiny Furry In A Huge World v1.3 is coming this month, for sure sure, and after that I'll be talking about what's coming next. 2024 might have been really bad for the most part, but that doesn't mean we can't have a good rest of the year...
See you soon, everyone!
