A Tinier Furry In A Huger World Update Schedule Poll

Hello everyone!  This might seem like an odd poll ... and it is, because I only decided to run this a couple of days ago.

PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE VOTING!

A Tiny Furry In A Huge World had, as everyone probably knows, a weekly update schedule. Every week this year I've added between 5000 to 10000 words to the game. Sometimes this hasn't been comfortable - especially when I've been getting close to 10k - but for the most part, I've been able to hit this goal every week without causing myself too much stress.

Because of this, however, endings can sometimes feel a little bit short, or like they're missing elements. Things that I've not added into the game consistently for a little while are things like stomach rooms, the graphic digestion and disposal toggles, and, well, just stuff.

The reason for why is simple. It's not laziness or lack of desire to make that content - I would love to make more prolonged digestions and such - it's simply time. On my schedule, the update needs to be crafted in two to three days (and three is me being naughty and not taking a day off when I should be) so there often isn't time to create a inside room that has options and stuff to do in it and write a prolonged digestive sequence and ... everything else.

So then, what this poll is going to propose is an alternative to this system for the sequel. And that alternative is ... the current, weekly update system ... versus updates every two weeks. I am going to lay out the pros and cons of both neatly below.
WEEKLY UPDATES
Game updated once per week with 5000-10000 words of content (between 2-4 endings)

PROS
-
Constant weekly flow of interactive content
- Since there are four updates a month, chances are one of them will have something that you like due to a wide variety of endings
- Game gets made quicker on the whole

CONS
- Longer digestive sequences/disposal options aren't offered due to timescale
- Game can feel very linear due to a large lack of player choice outside of vore options
- Sometimes a toll on my mental health

.

FORTNIGHTLY UPDATES
Game updated once every two weeks with 10000-20000 words of content (between 3-5 endings an update, but much more polished)

PROS
- Longer digestive sequences/more elaborate endings can be written as a standard for vore endings in particular (with the harsher elements such as graphic digestion and disposal being togglable, of course)
-
World and giants will be more interactive/immersive on the whole, leading to more opportunities in player choice. One persons game could end up looking a lot different than another due to variables determined throughout adding lots of replayability. In other words, more time for 'polish'
- In theory, much easier on my mental health

CONS
- Updates flow less quickly
- Less content variation a month (since there would less endings on the whole)
- Will lead to game development taking slightly longer due to a focus on making more variable endings/content

That's it! To answer a question that might be pressing - if fortnightly wins, what happens when you reach your stretch goal on Patreon? In that case, financially, I would be able to devote four actual working days to Patreon content a week, which would be mean shit would go back to weekly updates, just with the same ethos as the above.

Going to keep Setting Poll 2 running for another 24 hours, so make sure you vote on that if you haven't yet!

Happy voting!

God I'm so glad the long updates are coming through. For me it just sounds like it would allow you to build a quality focused game, and I'm always up for quality over quantity~ And if you're able to put more diversity in too it's only a win win! Not to mention the old rule: the longer you wait, the more satisfying it is when you get to it XD

Take care of yourself my Queen <33! Even if it takes a bit more time to get an update its alright in my mind ^^
