Grimm are not animals. Animals have souls and Aura in the RWBYverse, Grimm do not. Grimm are just soulless monsters. (And also the visual differences between Red Trailer and main show are just that: Visual differences. No lore reason)

No kidding, Monty Oum once went to an IHOP when creating the concept of RWBY. And he got inspired by the ketchup stains on his napkin, and based the general outline off of them. Truly an example that inspiration can come from anywhere.

While not really covered highly, the term 'kingdom' is not used as we have in our history. They're more like city-states with probably a few dozen miles beyond the (literal) walls for farming. While they can claim hundreds of miles as 'theirs', there's no actual enforcement of anything.

Glad you watched these videos. They definitely do help i explaining the world and are very informative. :) Theorize away. That's part of the fun for RWBY.

Yes we can't spoil what they get right, but we don't have to lie when they're onto something. Like with Blake's cat ears. Yes, that bow looked like cat ears, but did we really have to me mean about it? We can always choose to keep our mouths shut!! 2. To you Morgan: I didn't know this mini series existed, so I'm glad I got to watch this on here, cause I was more lost than I thought😅. 3. I really enjoyed this.
