I was so excited to see your reaction to this episode because the darkwing episodes are some of my favorites. And yes, I ship darkwing and launchpad and then they get to be a little family with goslyn. They are so cute and I wish we could've gotten the darkwing spin off the wanted to do.

The original Taurus Bulba was played by the legendary Tim Curry and was a straight up villain. He was actually one of the few villains in st canard that Darkwing Duck actually feared because he was so dangerous. And the ramrod in the original made things float, but making it a dimensional gateway in this version of Darkwing Duck is genius.

That might be fun to check out on your own time, or it could be a one off reaction. Only if you're interested, of course.

2025-10-02 17:13:23 +0000 UTCFun Fact: In the original 1991 Darkwing Duck show, Gosalyn was actually fully adopted by Drake, with Launchpad acting as the "cool uncle" type. This was after Bulba, who was a literal Russian crime boss voiced by Tim Curry in that version, straight up had the grandfather killed and tried to get the Ramrod activation codes from her. Also, she was a little more annoying in that version, imagine Dewey's recklessness and Louie's greed and laziness, combined with a massive rebellious streak. Back then, it was apparently considered having "spirit." I would recommend speaking out the show, though. It's a lot of fun, especially the old versions of those Darkwing villains.
