The old lady IS Olivia (look at the credits) - tho how much older is VERY ambigous, could be 60ish years later (her ageing normally) or could be 20ish years later (her ageing rapidly because her Priness Gwen robot/ android isn't around - which would mean the two flashbacks took place around the same time, timelinewise)

2025-09-21 03:20:47 +0000 UTCI've only just realised the object Sparky threatens Frankie with when she "breaks the rules". It's for pulling teeth, and Frankie has a lot of gaps. If Frankie just imagined her friendly robots that'd be one thing, but it's also maybe implied she's hallucinating what's on the TV screen when Andi returns from being fired. And Sparky says he can't go easy on her "because of the way she is"... I don't think you play this genre of games, but the security robot is very Dark Souls coded - a very popular and spooky franchise that inspired a whole look and has been referenced in TOH. The timeline is ambiguous. The protagonists were children when they met the Guinevere android with the broken finger. 20 years later they pull the same android out the water. It's implied that this is Olivia's android that threw itself off the balcony. But now it also seems that in 20 years Olivia has gone from a little girl to an old bedridden woman. Unless they're different people? Or one scene was a hallucination?

It's weird that Sparky calls Frankie "Franklin" in the scene where he is being really mean to them because he calls them Frankie on the boat earlier. I think you're right about Blue Lung being from the toxic cloud. If it's Andy that has it already, then that's already really sad. And thanks for the QR code. It definitely makes me think that Olivia has Munchausen by proxy syndrome and Werner syndrome. Originally Guinevere was supposed to be her caretaker and well the kid got more and more fucked in the head.

2025-09-20 14:40:44 +0000 UTCSo, I have only watched the Pilot once but this is what I got from it: Both Gwens at the beginning and at the end refer to the two children as Francesca and Andrea, but when they argue with Sparky, he calls them "Franklin and Andrea". That gives Frankie trans vibes imo. Though we still do not know for certain what both of their pronouns are. I believe that it is the toxic fumes from the factories that cause Blue Lung, because the smog coming from them is blue as well. Maybe it is the material they use to create this blue blood for the Gwens that is so harmful. Also, it seemed to me that Andy is the one who is suffering from Blue Lung when shaking Sparky's hand as his spit did not seem blue. The drugs they are smuggling might be related to that, but I do not think they alone cause the illness. The Gwen at the end might not have been the same one from the beginning, because they all have access to the same database of memories. She seems to me like a prototype or a special model, she is the oldest one clearly, predating the park's creation, but how did she come to be and what happened to Olivia before all this? I kinda fear that she existed outside of the system normally and that, by connecting her to that repair machine, Andy and Frankie caused her original program to be overwritten. That would explain the errors and warnings she experienced. There are so many unknowns about this world and lore but it is SO amazing to theorize. Also, did you notice the QR-Code on the boat in the scene when Sparky yells at Frankie to not stop working? I scanned it and it is actually real and leads to a webisite.... Dana and her crew really cooked with this, not to mention the very obvious jabs at big corporations and the entertainment industry.

The animation is so good, Frankie and Andie are already my favorites, and the horror elements are phenomenal. Also, the little frog robot thing is so cute! I can't wait for more.

I have a theory that Olivia is adopted by Orville. But in any case, he creeps me out😶 5:55, ".. and I guess we're just not going to adress it." Not in this episode. They gotta have some mysteries left for us to think about. 7:07, "Oh, everything is not what it seems! Ouh, something uh.. a little uh.. morbid is happening here! Umm, a little.. malice. A little, bad intent. Oh God. I thoughtthe robot was going to be the creepy one, but I guess not." Yeah, that's accurate! 11:55, "I see you all!" 😂😅. I think the blue blood is because of the pollution on the planet. Even ordinary people cough it up. So it's not just the Gwen's. I think it's, sort of a disease or something. I could be 100% wrong about this. It's just a small theory of mine 26:30. That Gwen has seen better days! Yikes😳 37:13. I think they're Frankie's imaginary friends. Sure seems like it 46:55. And also, Gwen's voice is by non other than Boscha from TOH!!! I think it actually fits. The eye that is closed throughout the pilot represent her ability to see the fantasy world. It's literally sewn shut, she did it herself so she could escape. When the machine 'repaired' it open it forces her to see the world in sickly sweet saccharine Disney animation style where the main character HAVE to be kids. If the show isn't about kids and for kids, why the fuck are we even making it?

Morgan, if you don't want to read all this bullshit, first paragraph and last are the really juicy bits, I think. They're on another planet. Literally, there are ads for "Faster than Light" travel plastered on the walls and Andie talks about "All the planets will be terraformed." Terraformed being changing an environment to be more like Earth. So they talk about being on Park Planet because they're literally on "Park Planet" the planet is owned by the theme park. There are a ton of themes and notes from history. It's like historic mining towns, where everyone who worked in the mines lived in the town which was owned by the mines and so you got money made by the mines which could only be used in company owned stores on company owned products and a tiny amount of real money so they could claim they were paying you real money. The fact that the entire planet is owned by a theme park has a lot of tie ins that I'm sure Elijah will go in depth about where basically Disney tried to not only make their own town in Florida, they tried to make their own county, like a corporate owned entity. They wanted EPCOT the ExPerimental City of Tomorrow to be an autonomous community that they fully controlled as well. Between local resistance and funding issues that fell through and the whole thing shrunk down and we just got an EPCOT dome.... which is what the labs look like. The theme park planet was definitely the final gift of the father figure to his daughter, or was intended to be. It seems like it was what he sunk most of his fortune into, making it for her. My question is if they made their money in terraforming technology, robotics or something else. Also notice Dana Terrace's recurring theme with eye gouging, loss of vision, fear of blindness. Frankie, the Chief character and Gwen all have an eye missing or damaged in the pilot. It's not important to the plot (except in one case) but it is interesting. Okay thing that I noticed that involves Unhinged Theory The First: I think all the robots are tied into the terraforming system of the planet. At 6:46 in the original video "Why would anyone splice facial controls into the environmental pipeline?" Andie thinks for a moment and immediately fixes the problem. The next day she's immediately fired and the head even causes the trash can to be flagged red when the holo was originally blue. I think she deleted the connection to the terraforming controls, which meant the robot head worked just fine on its own because it didn't have to share the workload of handling the terraforming systems of the entire damn planet. Other thing I noticed: The head flashed the error code 1028x3F, which Gwen also flashes at the end of pilot when they're fixing her. What that specifically means, I'm not sure. Blue Lung Thoughts: It's a pollution metaphor. I think it's a byproduct of creating androids like Guinevere. The reason the chief's cigar is stained with it is because he's hacking it up too. He's been breathing it in too long. In some shots you can see people, even kids, wearing gas masks. The Creepy Daughter: I don't know if it's Munchausen Syndrome or not. Is it Munchausen mixed with Methuselah Syndrome (ala Blade Runner? That'd be Cyberpunk as fuck) Gwen 1.0: She was the girl's original life support system and kept her alive, but how and why? Or does she... now hear me out. What if her body heals very very quickly. So quickly that if you distill it down and tear away small bits it becomes a medicine that can unnaturally prolong the lives of the ultra wealthy that can afford it? You'd have to design a very sophisticated life support system to keep the bits that are left of her alive until you needed to harvest her.
