Arcane Post Episode 9 Thoughts

I agree on the Black Rose bit; tease it and then leave it on a cliffhanger to lead to the next story. Mel's powers awakening helped with the war but if they had restructured it, it would have left room for Mel's powers to awaken *just in the knick of time* and given us that big reveal. Rather than taking time away throughout the season to fit in the explanation; it would have given us a least 10 minutes of screen time to address the rest of the plot. Also rip to Vi fans after the co-creator essentially said "we didn't care about her so we stopped addressing her story." CLOWN BEHAVIOR!

2024-11-29 18:09:23 +0000 UTCMaddie was obviously a spy from day one. When she talked to Vi, she said she was one of the "good ones" and that irked me. Then Embessa said she has eyes in Cait's movements, the bitch also started with the noxian salute when Embessa was luring her to take command. But I think the most significant is the frame just before she tries to kill Caitlyn. If you freeze frame there, when it's only her silhouette, she has a joker-like smile, she was enjoying herself... Until Mel showed up. I'm so glad for Mel, the support as always saving the adc (LOL terminology for Cait's position as a damage dealer and Mel as a healer/protector). Also, remember when you were mad at Amazon for the description of Hazbin saying that Vaggie and Charlie were 'very good friends', that you mentioned you never pressed lovely your forehead to a friend? With Jayce and Viktor, more of the same. They could say whatever but those two were the gayest romance of the series. And yeah, it's a pity for Ekko but Jinx is moving to Demacia and there is Lux waiting for her. If they will give us Lightcannon (the ship name), I'm about to eat so very fine, it's my favorite ship from LOL XD

2024-11-29 12:15:17 +0000 UTCSo funny enough, even in League of Legends lore Singed is responsible for almost everything bad that happens in Runeterra and has no consequences whatsoever so the show is pretty faithful there lol. Also Jinx has another very popular ship besides Ekko and considering her ride is going on the direction of that characters home I wouldn’t hold out too much hope for that ship sorry Timebomb fans.

2024-11-29 05:18:47 +0000 UTCI only mildly shipped jayvik until the finale and now I love them. I fear I just love queer ships doomed to their physical bodies being destroyed and becoming concepts. XD There is no heterosexual explanation to them. I think Maddie was always a spy. She even mentions Noxus in her introduction. I think she was constantly trying to sniff out disloyalty and that is why she was trying to get Caitlyn to turn against Ambessa. It makes me sad Ekko was alone at the end, but I do hope his story will continue in future show. There are other champions in the game he has interactions with that that never appeared in the show, so there is a chance he could come back.
