In Japan, this time of year is filled with multiple holidays, so many people take long vacations. With the pleasant weather, it’s one of the busiest seasons for tourism and leisure activities.
Since places get crowded and prices tend to rise, for people like us who aren’t tied to the calendar, staying home quietly might be the best option.
As usual, I’ve been going back and forth between home and the gym.
Recently, though, more gyms calling themselves "amusement gyms" have been popping up around our area.
These gyms offer spaces for desk work, massage chairs, and other amenities—making them even more comfortable than home. I find myself spending more and more time there.
If they get any more comfortable, I might just give up my apartment and start living at the gym!
Though honestly, if I could pull that off, I’d probably experience some serious muscle growth…!
Also, I’m happy to announce that the Sukebe na Dake no Akujo (PSS) series will be released in French!

Yeah, ChocoZaps are exploding in popularity here in Japan! They’re super casual—honestly, the gym part feels more like a bonus. Some locations even have washing machines, karaoke booths, and hair removal devices. It’s surprisingly convenient, and cheap too! The gym I go to is a bit more expensive, but it's also a lot more serious when it comes to actual training, so it works great for me. Gyms are really becoming as common as convenience stores in Japan these days!
