at least the first sex scene.
im setting each sex scene up in such a way that they can easily be cut out and not interrupt the flow of the story, for the public version. after a few more days of pages i will slowly drip feed the earlier pages out to the public (minus the smut) to keep the hype going

Unless the whole point of the story was to make him understand she is not "a plaything nor a damsel in distress and his machismo has to give way to the fact she knows what she is doing... which would be a neat character development... then ... 😅 let's put it this way. Me too... i... get getting carried with a project. But there is protecting somebody because of ignorance by warning them of possible mistakes... and then there is removing the ability to make a judgement because you do not believe they can judge by themselves. 😅 They are 2 kida very totally opposite things. And while i understand they might look similar... This looks like the second. I would have put the thing very differently and have had the guy warn her that he did not know how good she was with this stuff and ask her if she could wait until they were at the next stop so that it was safer to rewire things and also so she could do tests... like you said... when both their lives were not at risk. At that point i would have made him let her decide and she probably would agree. I do not know how long they have been traveling together. But she was already stressed because she could not do much. Taking agency away from her is just needlessly cruel from him. 😅 Unless... as i already said. That was the whole point and him understanding how he is damaging her with his will to protect her is the point of the story.
