Hi, This is Muchi.

For the past three days, the two of us have been staying on a remote island in Okinawa called Ishigakijima.

The island was originally crowded with backpackers from outside Japan, but compared to my memory of 10 years ago, it seemed much less crowded.

However, the blue sea and blue sky had not changed.

The strong sunshine made my tanning work much easier.

Too bad I am on a weight loss program, so I had to hold back a bit on food...!

(Of course, this is just an excuse to keep up appearances, not to mention that I really did eat a lot of good food 😂

By the way, I love, love, love root beer, but people think I'm weird... I had four more pints!

The weather forecast was for rain on the day of departure and throughout our stay, but fortunately we didn't get rained on even once. On the contrary, we could feel the strong sunshine all the time.

Inui-Sensei was happy to be able to take a lot of pictures to use as backgrounds for his illustrations. I am sure the quality of the illustrations will improve, so look forward to it!
