General interest poll

I'm curious to know if there's interest for original content from time to time, or if I should share it somewhere else if I'm to share it at all :0

The best story and universe with bland or lifeless characters will fall flat, and some shitty stories have taken off because they had gripping characters. I want to write PoV like I do with Brighter too, so it’s all the more important to know who’s gonna be telling the story. Good luck with your own writing :3

2019-04-23 01:19:00 +0000 UTCWell, it's all part of the process, right? In my experience, it's really hard to write a story before you get the characters down pat (and I've tried). I think figuring out the characters first is the right way to go about it. I think that's why my recent toe-dips into writing fanfiction have been so much more productive for me than my original writing attempts. I can come up with worlds and conflicts for days, but characters take time and effort to establish, and it's not fun trying to write them when you don't know who they are.
