I wanted to post to give you a bit of an update on where I'm at. Sorry for the silence, I’ve had some unexpected real-life issues and got into a place where I wasn’t really fit to do any sort of creative work. I feel really bad because this is the first time I’m so unable to manage my stuff that I haven’t been able to make two polls this month – which usually two polls is what I can manage while still leaving myself time to make 2 or 3 illustrations of my own.
The good news is I’m able to return to normal activity and I’m working both on the WR drawing and on the last commission I had in my commissions slots. I’m also totally fit for the December polls (incoming post about theme to set it up for December 1st!).
As a result, illustrations are going to be dropping pretty fast in the next 2 weeks hehe
I’ve received a lot of e-mails inquiring when commissions are going to open again – that’s likely going to be January 1st. Given what I’m working on now, I’d like to leave myself some time for my own illustration ideas (and working on Brighter extras 4!) before I open commission slots again :)
But anyways, thank you for being patient with me your support has been invaluable ♡( ◡‿◡ ) Over the last years I've picked up and dropped drawing more times than I can count, going as far as not drawing for a couple years. Tumblr got me started again, but Patreon is what pushes me to kick my own ass and figure it out instead of giving up when I get into a drawing rut (I think all artists get that? That point where you're like I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRAW/WRITE/ACT/PAINT ANYMORE!).
I guess this is a bit of a mix of an apology and thanks-giving feels. But I needed to write about it!
