Naruto: Copy System#671+672: You're Pitifully Weak Too, Whitebeard’s Goal

"That must be Urouge's pirate crew up ahead."

Shin’s gaze fell upon a distant pirate ship, its crew composed entirely of monks in traditional robes.

"A bunch of monks who should be chanting sutras are out here playing pirate. This is just ridiculous. Momousagi, let's give them a proper greeting with a few cannonballs."

Shin ordered.

When dealing with pirates, Momousagi naturally wouldn't go easy on them. With a wave of her hand, a barrage of cannonballs flew towards the Fallen Monk Pirates.

——————

On the other side, aboard the Fallen Monk Pirates' ship, the monks were in a state of panic. "Captain, you shouldn't have provoked Shin Uzumaki! Now he's coming for us! What do we do?" one of them cried out to Urouge.

At this point, Urouge’s crew wasn't just panicking—they were filled with despair, ready to simply give up and wait for their deaths.

Although the Kuja Pirates were made up almost entirely of women, with Shin as their only male captain, no one underestimated them. The reason was simple: the Kuja Pirates were genuinely powerful. Even without counting Shin's strength, they had enough firepower to stand as one of the Four Emperors.

"What's all the panic for?"

The Mad Monk Urouge, however, showed no signs of fear. In fact, he looked thrilled.

Despite being a monk, Urouge had a combative personality. He loved to challenge powerful opponents, and he didn't care if he was defeated or even killed in the process.

Of course, that was his mindset for now. Whether he would remain so calm and unafraid in the face of a true life-or-death crisis remained to be seen.

"Return fire." Urouge, completely unfazed, ordered his men to shoot down the incoming cannonballs.

But the rest of his crew didn't share his composure or his strength. They were up against one of the most powerful figures on the seas.

"LET'S FIGHT BACK."

In the end, the monks had no other choice. They had to see this through to the bitter end. With no hope of survival, their only option was to fight the Kuja Pirates.

——————

"They think they can fight back? They're really biting off more than they can chew."

Hancock drew her sword, but before she could make a move, lightning descended from the sky, vaporizing the cannonballs into ash.

"Olvia, you..." Hancock glanced at Olvia. The one who had just acted was, of course, Olvia.

"It doesn't matter who does it. Why are you so concerned, Hancock?" Olvia said with a smile.

"You're right. It doesn't matter who does it."

Hancock didn't want to argue with Olvia. It was just as she had said—they were all just small fry anyway. So Hancock decided not to act at all, leaving the stage entirely to Olvia.

"<Myriad Thunder!>"

Olvia waved her hand, and endless lightning formed a massive thundercloud. The cloud crackled with electricity, and countless bolts descended from the sky. Their target was, of course, Urouge and his crew. The combined force of the lightning was earth-shattering.

In an instant, the distant ship was blown to pieces. Everyone on board was dead, including Urouge.

That's right—he was nothing more than cannon fodder, wiped out in a single blow by Olvia. Just as he had been one-shotted by an Admiral in the past, he was now one-shotted by Olvia.

"It's all over," Olvia said with a smile.

“No way. I was expecting a big fight. It’s over already?” Nami said with a disappointed expression.

“Are you missing the point? A pitifully weak crew like that—did you really think it would take a big fight?” Shin shot Nami a sidelong glance.

"Pitifully weak? Didn't you say I couldn't even beat him?" Nami couldn't help but retort.

"That's right. You're pitifully weak too," Shin nodded calmly, completely ignoring the look of shock on Nami's face.

"I'm pitifully weak? When did I get labeled as pitifully weak? I DON'T ACCEPT THAT!"

Nami said to Shin, completely unconvinced.

"Oh? You don't accept it? Then let me ask you—who on this ship can you beat?"

Shin asked with a smile.

Nami’s gaze swept across the crew, and her expression gradually stiffened. At that moment, she realized she couldn't beat anyone.

Shirahoshi might be young, but she was the Sea King, Poseidon, capable of summoning sea kings from the depths of the ocean at will. As for Sugar, who looked even younger but was actually older, her Devil Fruit ability could instantly defeat Nami.

"We could always get the Flare-Flare Fruit for Nami," Amatsuki Toki said, holding up a newspaper.

Shin took it and saw that Doflamingo was up to his old tricks from the original story. An auction for the Flare-Flare Fruit... should he just have Doflamingo deliver it?

If Shin ordered it, Doflamingo wouldn't refuse.

"Do you want the Flare-Flare Fruit? If you do, I can have Doflamingo deliver it right now," Shin said to Nami.

The Flare-Flare Fruit was a Logia-type Devil Fruit, and a pretty good one at that. If developed properly, it could even surpass the Magma-Magma Fruit.

"No, I don't want to eat a Devil Fruit." Nami flatly refused. Eating a Devil Fruit meant being weak to seawater.

Nami loved swimming in the ocean. She didn't want to give up her favorite activity just for a Devil Fruit.

"Alright, if you don't want to, then don't."

Shin wouldn't force Nami. Everyone had their own choices. Devil Fruits were valuable, but not everyone wanted to eat one.

"Then let's go. To see Whitebeard."

Shin prepared to go see Whitebeard. If Robin's previous guess was right, and Whitebeard was planning to go after Kaido, Shin was interested in joining in. The seas had been quiet for too long—even the New World was becoming stagnant.

Shin planned to make a move, to bring some excitement back to the dead waters of the New World. If he and Whitebeard really did make a move on Kaido, it would cause a massive shockwave across the seas, even affecting the first half of the Grand Line.

Even if that wasn't Whitebeard's intention, Shin was still planning to stir things up.

Shin’s Pluton set a course for Whitebeard’s territory, making no effort to hide their movements as they sailed openly.

<><><><><><><><>

Shin had never been one for sneaking around. Besides, he wanted the seas to erupt in chaos. He wasn't afraid of anyone knowing he was entering Whitebeard's territory.

Typically, the Four Emperors stayed out of each other's territories. Entering another's domain could easily trigger a war between two Emperors.

The first to receive news of Shin’s entry into Whitebeard’s territory were the Marines. Their surveillance of the pirates was the most extensive—they never missed a single move.

“Shin Uzumaki has led the Kuja Pirates into Whitebeard’s territory? Are they planning to go to war?”

In the meeting room, Kizaru stroked his chin, speculating.

Though there was plenty of speculation, Kizaru remained completely calm. It didn't have much to do with him, after all. He might be a Marine Admiral, but Kizaru had always believed in doing just enough to get paid.

He wasn't getting a raise, so why should he risk his life? For his current salary, you couldn't expect him to go all out against Shin Uzumaki.

"The chances of them going to war are slim. It's more likely they're forming an alliance."

Akainu’s mood was heavy. If the two most troublesome figures on the seas were to join forces, one could only imagine what the future would hold. The thought alone was terrifying, weighing heavily on Akainu's mind.

"Things might not be as bad as you think," Kizaru said with a relaxed expression.

"Kizaru, go and investigate. I want to know the details," Akainu suddenly said, his gaze fixed on the relaxed Kizaru, assigning him a mission.

Kizaru’s previously relaxed expression instantly changed. He couldn't believe Akainu was setting him up like this.

"I know this mission might be dangerous, but you're the only one who can do it."

Akainu wasn't deliberately trying to set Kizaru up—he genuinely believed Kizaru was the most suitable for the job. As a Glint-Glint Fruit user, even if he was discovered, he should be able to escape.

Yes, he should be able to escape. Akainu had great faith in Kizaru, which was why he had sent him.

If Kizaru knew what Akainu was thinking, he would probably spit in his face.

Escape from Shin Uzumaki? Did he really think Kizaru didn't know he had an ability similar to his? Even if he turned into light, he wouldn't be able to escape him. Kizaru's expression was grim.

But Akainu had already given the order, and there was no room for refusal. Kizaru stood up and left...

——————

It wasn't just the Marines who were watching. The other Four Emperors and pirates were also paying close attention.

Shin Uzumaki, the Strongest Man in the World—and Whitebeard, the former Strongest, were meeting. What would happen? Everyone was guessing, and some even wanted to find out for themselves, but no one had the guts.

Shin had already met with Whitebeard. Upon his arrival, Whitebeard had immediately prepared the finest banquet to welcome him.

“Whitebeard, let’s cut to the chase. Why did you invite me?” Shin said to Whitebeard.

They were both men, so Shin was a bit impatient. If it were a beautiful woman, Shin would have been interested in chatting, but with this old man, there was nothing to talk about.

And the wine Whitebeard had prepared was terrible. Whitebeard might be enjoying it, but it wasn't to Shin’s taste. Shin didn't like it at all and planned to leave as soon as their conversation was over.

“FIRST, I WANT TO THANK YOU. IF IT WEREN’T FOR YOU, THIS OLD BODY OF MINE WOULD HAVE DIED LONG AGO.”

Whitebeard said to Shin in a deep voice.

"A thank you that's two years late." Shin looked at Whitebeard with amusement.

Hearing Shin’s words, Whitebeard felt a bit awkward, but he was also thick-skinned. With a hearty laugh, he moved on.

“You know, the Whitebeard Pirates haven’t had it easy lately. I haven’t had a chance to thank you,” Whitebeard said with a heavy tone.

The Whitebeard Pirates were indeed in a tough spot.

The pressure from Kaido, Blackbeard, and Akainu was immense. Especially Akainu, who wanted nothing more than to see Whitebeard dead. After all, Akainu knew the hatred between them was a blood feud.

By killing the son of Roger, he had become a hero to the Marines, but he had also earned the hatred of the Whitebeard Pirates. As a result, Akainu had always wanted to eliminate Whitebeard, this thorn in his side.

Similarly, there was a great deal of conflict between Kaido and Whitebeard. He had even tried to ambush Whitebeard while he was on his way to save Ace. If not for Red-Haired Shanks’s intervention, Kaido would have swallowed all of Whitebeard’s territory.

As for Blackbeard, he was someone Whitebeard absolutely could not forgive, even more so than Akainu. And Blackbeard himself knew very well that Whitebeard wanted him dead, so he had been finding ways to deal with the Whitebeard Pirates over the years.

"...Shin, I want to cooperate with you to deal with Kaido and Blackbeard."

Whitebeard stated his purpose. It seemed Robin’s guess was correct after all.

"Then what's in it for me?" Shin asked Whitebeard calmly. At the same time, Shin wanted to test Whitebeard's resolve.

“You can have all of it.” Whitebeard said to Shin with extreme seriousness.

He was willing to give everything to Shin, asking for nothing in return. His only goal was to deal with Kaido and Blackbeard. Although his body was still at its peak thanks to Shin, Whitebeard could still feel himself aging. When he became too old to fight, he wouldn't have a chance against Kaido. And Kaido would definitely not spare his sons.

So Whitebeard wanted to eliminate this threat to his sons while he was still at his peak. And the cunning Blackbeard also had to be eliminated. Blackbeard would never show mercy after he died.

"I appreciate the honesty." Shin looked deeply at Whitebeard.

He didn't want anything, giving it all to Shin. But treasure held almost no allure for Shin, so he didn't care much about it.

“What do you say? Will you agree?” Whitebeard looked at Shin with anticipation. If he could handle Kaido and Blackbeard on his own, he wouldn't have sought Shin's cooperation.

However, Shin just smiled without saying a word, leaving Whitebeard unsure of what he was thinking.

Whitebeard also didn't speak, just quietly looking at Shin, waiting for his answer.

I wonder what Shin will ask for in return. Though i think he most likely will do it for the heck of it lol

Malachai

Shin obviously has no reason to join but like he brought up earlier, he'd be doing it to stir things up. He's bored and there's not many other exciting things to do atm
