Demon goat girl drawing buddy

this is the model i am using for the first demon goat girl i made.  i have not made her with the odd hands yet though.

just like my old folios i am going through all my old 3d files and uploading the ones i think will be useful to those who want them

well with that pile of renders i did, i abandon them because they were essentially multiple copies of the same pose and i thought that would make my work seem to repetitive. also i was of the opinion that the way i was drawing was "wrong" so i wanted to try and move away from that method. now i don't think that way. in fact, quite the reverse, using my 3d is more of a tool then a crutch, it just depends on how i use it. now i also abandoned that "brush" making program because i found it too limiting. it was easier to render out a head in the exact pose i wanted rather then trying to search through all the custom brushes i made. but the experience did teach me more about blender. now i am using my printer and real pencils along side my photoshop and 3d. i start with my normal work flow but when i get up to the first draft of the line work i print out a real copy. this shows me what needs to be emphasized and/or fixed, as there is just "something" that a real image in your hand has that a screen based image does not. i can also go in and scale up sections i am having difficulty with and try fixing the issue both in the digital work environment and real pencil. i did a lot of that with the hands on the shrimp girl kissing scene

Since we're talking character references, of all the stuff you did in the past year of "artistic exploration", what did you find useful, and what did you end up discarding completely because it was now what you were searching? I do remember when you tried to create a bunch of references to draw upon and then ended up discarding them in block because they were not up to par, but overall, what would you save and what would you discard? Also: what did you learn in discarding what you discarded? This is all out of curiosity, and might be interesting for other patrons, so i'm asking here instead of in private message. But if you feel this bears to be answered in private, feel free to delete this and answer there.

exactly. when i first created her i did not use any 3d figures but the consistency in her design was LACKING....so i made this to be a good drawing buddy to keep me "on model"

Sooo basically it was a bunny girl where you drew the ears and hooves differently by hand?
