There are some big changes in how the game starts and behaves, so let me explain everything and show you whatβs new!
The biggest and most noticeable change:
The game now starts inside your Harem Palace, called βOasis Palaceβ!

The game logic has been upgraded to allow you to fully customize your palace however you like:
Choose and place individual rooms
Add objects like lights, furniture, and decorations
Assign where characters go and what they do
View detailed character information in a new UI
Use a quest log with indicators showing where to go
Travel to other environments like Fluffrooms (and later Frost) to unlock new characters
New room-based streaming level system
Dynamic day/night cycle
Weather like sunny skies, clouds, or sandstorms
Your palace starts with a few predefined rooms (like the Entrance Hall and Throne Room), but there are several doors where you choose what room to attach next.

A small preview window helps you choose the door and orientation for new rooms
You can name your custom rooms
New rooms can be unlocked or discovered
Iβm also working on an easy-to-use system for creating and saving your own room presets
In the Character UI, you can now:
See all characters in your palace
View their current location and activity
Assign what functions they're allowed to perform
Decide whether they should stay in one spot or free roam

To make it even easier, you can quick travel to any character or room directly from these UIs!
The new Quest System has been added! You can now:
Add and track quests
See exactly where to go next
Use the new cell-based map system to get directions
If the goal is within the same βcellβ (room area), it shows a direct path. If not, it highlights the door leading to the correct area.

Thanks to your feedback and my testing, Iβve found that clearing the render thread and using manual garbage collection greatly improves framerate and stability.
So for the Palace, Iβve switched to a new method:
Each room (cell) is now its own streaming level.
When you pass through a door, all other rooms are unloaded
Only the current room (and necessary sublevels) are loaded
This greatly improves performance, though you might see a brief black screen while loading
Iβll compile a new version very soon, so you can grab this update through the Super Fluffy Updater, along with bug fixes for Fluffrooms!
