Big Updater Overhaul β Fixing the Fatal Error!

I made major changes to the updater and the way the game is packaged to finally get rid of that fatal error.
This turned out to be more work than expected, so the game itself hasnβt been updated yet, but you can already test if the fatal error is gone for you! π
Changes & Improvements:
β Game files now transfer using ZIP containers instead of PAKs.
β Updater can now update both game content & binaries.
β Full rework of packaging β More files can now be updated individually, making future updates smoother!

Important: Fresh Start Recommended!
The next game version will use new save files, so I highly recommend deleting your old saves for now.
Hereβs how to do it:
1οΈβ£ Type %appdata% into your address bar.
2οΈβ£ Go back one folder and open the "Local" directory.
3οΈβ£ Delete the "TheFluffrooms" folder.
Looking Ahead: Unreal Engine 5.5 & Finalizing the Game Update
This new updater is a big step forward! Unlike the previous version (which could only update PAK files), this one can now update the entire gameβincluding binaries.
Thatβs going to be super useful when I finally upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.5 (right now, the game runs on 5.4).
Even though the game update isnβt live yet, Iβd really appreciate it if you could test the new updater and see if the fatal error is gone! Iβll try to get the game update compiled and uploaded later today.

Is the strange fox the only encounter for the back rooms? They are not interactive after they capture me. So it feels like a dead end, and no other creatures appear if I avoid the fox.

2025-04-13 18:02:41 +0000 UTCI will do that, but right now the harem part is not playable, this version is still in a alpha state and not possible to finish, I am working on the next update which will fix many of them :3 you can see it right now as a technical test to make sure it runs and does not crash, everything is wip right now :x

2025-04-04 10:32:12 +0000 UTCI look into that, did you confirm to have at least 8gb of free space and it's not blocked by a firewall? Maybe try starting it as administrator to see if something is blocking its file access. Also thanks for the feedback finding those errors that only occur on some systems and not on others is difficult x_x

2025-04-04 01:27:58 +0000 UTCproblem to report it seems the updater doesn't work correctly for some people for all who have this problem its basic funtcions what ive run into is base modules after reseting my computer after basic functions doesnt download (seeing a red line instead of green) base modules is now having issues is there a fix for this? now its win64.zip thats having issues but it was only once
