Hiatus

Hi everyone.

I  hope you're all doing well.

I'm going to put "The Perilous Tales of Bora & Mirii" on hold for a while. Real life seems to have caught up with me and I'm pausing billing on Patreon for the foreseeable future.

I don't have the time or energy to keep this part of my life going anymore and I've reached the sink or swim point for my other projects and dreams.

I got another job too. Same hours, but the pay is substantially better, and more than covers the amount I was making here on Patreon. I finally feel like I have SOME stability in my life.

I don't make this decision lightly, but with a heavy heart. You guys have supported me and; perhaps more importantly, been supportive for months. You have been my piece of floating wreckage in a stormy ocean and I know I say this all the time but I need you to know how grateful I am to you.

This is not a goodbye however. You all stuck with me through thick and thin and I would like to bring the story to a satisfying place at least, before we go our separate ways. I'm not about to leave Bora Ugrum and Miriilandra Chaeihre at the mercy of Cliona in the dungeon below Fellglow Keep. They're my girls, they've helped me make some money and explore my own sexuality and for that, I am also grateful to them. I owe them a happy ending and I owe you guys some sort of closure.

I still have some renders left for the upcoming chapter and I'll be posting them, but not in the usual scheduled way. Whenever I get some free time, I'll devote it to finishing the story for you all (probably a national holiday or long weekend or something) and I hope to have it all wrapped up by the end of the year in some for or another, but no promises.

Another way in which this is not a "goodbye forever", is that I'll still be around. I'll keep the Discord up and I'll still keep my Twitter going. It's a great place to meet people, let off steam, and just to have a safe place to exist without the pressures of real life. The Underwater Snorkel Cat online profile has become a great place to switch off and tend to my mental health (as weird as that may seem). Come say hi if ever you need an online friendly face, I will do my best to be there for you. I'll also pop in and write some fanfiction from time to time cause I have fun with that.

I do want to reemphasize however, that I am ok. Like I mentioned, I finally have a way to make a decent living and an actual shot at following my dreams. I feel good about my life in a way I haven't in ages, and I wouldn’t have made it this far without all of you.
