Mid July Progress Update

Hi friends, time for another routine bi-monthly progress update. Hopefully this is the last update before I release Night 2. Here are some things I've changed/added to the game:

1. I added a flashing system to the doors, now you can hit the yellow button (under the door control panel) to flash a light into the hallway to check for ghosts. This is a classic mechanic in FNAF games, and it reduces the amount of times you need to check the camera, so hopefully this will make the game play smoother. I've attached an image to this post for you to see how it'll look like. This might make the game too easy, so I might actually change the hallway camera to have a blind spot, like in the original FNAF game.

2. I've reworked the red ghost's under desk mechanic. It used to be a random 10% chance for her to spawn under the desk and force you into a blowjob scene. But now, she spawns under the desk at the very beginning of the night, and will inch towards you by a fixed amount every time you exit the computer monitor and view the computer room. You need to pay attention and whack her with the hammer on the desk after she comes out, but before she gets too close. I've attached an image to kinda show it, can you spot her under the desk?

3. The random % chance mechanic mentioned in point 2 was not removed though, when you interact with the monitor there's a chance that it will glitch, and the blue ghost will come out to grab you... by the dick. You can struggle to avoid taking damage. The scene isn't animated yet, but it won't take long for us to finish it.

4. In addition to the other stuff mentioned in previous updates, obviously we've been adding more and more scenes for the green ghost. Attached is her jumpscare.

Regarding update schedule: My target for Night 2 release date was end of July, but to be honest, after one of my main artists left us to prep for grad school (I think I mentioned this on discord), the art has lagged a bit behind schedule. We're probably not too far behind though, I can likely at least release an early version of Night 2. Thanks for reading : )
